Today on June 26th 1960, Somaliland become An Independent African Nation for the first time in the History of Africa.
British Somaliland Protectorate was under the British Monarchy for nearly 80 years. Somaliland a small nation in the Horn of Africa was located in a strategic location and sought the protection of United Kingdom of Britain.
